| THRASH RATCHET is an explosive force in the heavy metal scene. With a plethora of years pickled in alcohol, their raw, bitchin' sound is fermented to the highest legal limit and can be heard on the new 2008 release 'metalfire', the long awaited follow up to their 1st full length CD - "BIG BOSS IS PISSED", which put them on the map. Soaking up tricks from the master Paul Orifino at Millbrook Sound Studios, where the 'Big Boss' and 'Bullets & Chains EP' was recorded, Johnny Blackout took it upon himself to torture everyone at the 'Third Hole Studio' and tweeked 'metalfire' into a bomb. The band has gigged feverishly with national acts such as: Exodus, Joey Belladonna, Overkill, Prong, Suffocation, Nuclear Assault, Lynch Mob, Type-O Negative, Testament, 3 inches of blood, Metal Church, Candy Striper Death Orgy, and the world famous Twisted Sister. Currently the band is working on new material, casually hawking their CDs, and often getting involved with internet radio. Seeing and hearing them live is a totally exciting and unforgettable experience, and they have won over a growing number of fans. This band lives to play live ! !
